hello Wednesday!
so…it started with this pile of fabrics…
do you recognize any of these prints??
I added some coordinating zippers…
and a bit of lightweight interfacing to give the pouches more body…
and here is where I am at…
just a few more left to put zippers in and then finish the sides…
what is your work in progress…
looking forward to seeing your link up…
linking up today with Lorna…
and then for fun…
I am giving away these charms…
leave me a comment and I will draw a winner on Friday…
Happy Sewing!
Looks great Brooke, curious to see how your bags will finish off!!! Right now I am working on making country gingham placemats☺️
Those are so pretty, and I love working with charms .
They look very nice! Do you use the same fabric on the insides, too?
What pretty fabrics you choose for your bags. I am working on 18″ doll clothes right now, so fun to do something different.
Red and aqua is my favourite colour combination. Last week I made several pouches to put away as Christmas presents, it is never too early to start getting ready for Christmas. x
Love the colors….thanks….waitig to see the bags:)
The charm fabrics are very cute, so bright and full of color. The fabric for your bags are nice. They will be much loved when completed. Will you give them away as gifts or do you sell them. Blessings, Gretchen villacrestfarm@gmail.com
These charms are in my very favorite colors. Missed seeing your finished products. They will be darling in those colors. Have a blessed day.
Nice! I love making zippy bags. I use them for everything, and use them as gift ‘wrappers’ for smaller items.
Love these bags! Working hard to finish up two QALs including the sashing on the Pixie Home quilt. Excited about how it progressed!
I’m always looking for more little charms and leftovers to use in my postage stamp quilt. I’m very interested to watch the bag progress.
Pretty summer charms.
I love charm packets they are my favorite to sew with. THank you
I like the red and aqua fabric Brooke!
You have the ‘funnest’ stash!! Love the colors! I don’t have anything to show because I spent the last two weeks welcoming DGS#2! 🙂 Have a happy day!
Ooooh, pretty colors in the charms, and in your bag fabric!
I might sew up some pouches if I didn’t have such an aversion to sewing in zippers!
Very pretty fabrics!!
Looking forward to seeing the finished bags. Love the giveaways
Great fabrics, on the pouches and charms, both!!
The reds and Aguas are so luscious!
Love the fabric!
I love your rotary cutter, so colorful.
Assembly line sewing gets the job done fast. They will be so cute when finished.
Hi. Very pretty! Thanks for sharing !
Wow, that red-aqua color combo is beautiful. The bags are lovely.
Please count me in too!
You have always pretty fabrics! In this moment I’m working with scraps for christmas presents.
I really love scraps! Thank you for the chance.
The charm squares in your pic are so fresh and spring like. Some of them are very similar to 1930/40’s prints which are my absolute fav to sew with, they help me appear a much better sewer than I actually am because whatever I make always looks so pretty. Thanks for your lovely giveaway, Good Luck Everybody xxx
Love the fabrics for your zip bags! I am working on two different wall hangings for my twin sisters!
Such pretty fabrics. Your pouches are looking great. I’ve been working on quilts for my new twin grandsons.
Such beautiful fabric, both for your bags and the yummy charms!
