so…if you have been around here much, you have probably seen the two sided quilt project I have been working on for a good portion of last year…

so, in order to do this two sided quilt and give it to my long arm quilter, I had to decide that one top would be the “back” and the other the front…
I needed to add 3 inch strips all the way around to give the quilter something to put the quilt on the machine with…
also, she recommended to reduce the bulk when putting on the binding, to trim an inch of each side of the “back”…

I am so excited to see this come back from the quilter…
this project is about 80 x 90 in size…

    Wonderful, and so nice to see it done. I know it has been a real project for sure. I did enjoy helping just the tiny little bit I did last year.

    There are so many different ways to make a double sided quilt. Yours is just gorgeous! I can’t wait to see how it’s quilted!

    Good job! I like the idea of a 2-sided quilt. I actually have an in-law that always uses the backside of the quilt so this would stop that, haha
