We finished up our vacation with a couple of days in Glacier National Park. Just had to have a mountain fix before heading home!! Ashley and I loved, loved spending time together!!
Heidi and I made it to Hidden Lake in record time!
I came home to this sweet package of treats from Tammie – thanks so much!!
I did do some work on vacation….love this binding – so fun!!
The giveaway for this week…..Sweetwater label crew project for this past month – labels and pattern along with 4 fat eighths from their upcoming Mama Said Sew fabric line! I hope to do just that – SEW this week!! What plans do you have??
I am in the final stages of hand quilting my hexagon quilt. Having a difficult time with the quilting along the edges of the quilt. They don’t quite fit along the floor frame, so I have taken it off. I thought it would fit on a small lap frame leaving the one edge free, but NOPE. I am trying it without a frame. SLOW process. When I really, really want it to be DONE.
Looks like you had a great vacation!! I am finally finishing up the handquilting for the quilt I made for my husband last year 😉
Thanks for the chance to win your sweet giveaway… I love Sweetwater!!
I have had materials for a while now to sew a dress for me and a matching skirt for my daughter. Think I bit off a little more than I can chew though 🙂 Cause I am not the greatest of sewers by any stretch lol. thanks for the chance!
Im trying to finish my bowls ready for the blog hop next week and get my hexagon globe finished before we go away
Gorgeous vacation pics!!! Your watermelon quilt is looking very very cute!!! I wish you lots of sewing this week =D
I’m sewing on part two of a quilt for our double bed. I sew two parts to make it easier to quilt before sewing the parts together.
Oh – I love Mama Said Sew and I love gray fabrics. Perfect prize pack – thanks for the chance to win!
happy you liked it 🙂 i’m binding three quilts this week, so we’re off to the library to pick out dvds. enjoy your week!
I was just up at Glacier Natl Park a couple of weeks ago! It was WONDERFUL (my first time to MT). I’m sewing up Christmas gifts earlier this year than last. 🙂
Hey – lookie on that Sweetwater – its my good ol’ Ohio! Yay! I saw the Mama Said Sew on Intrepid Thread Coming Soon page, it’s a good one – I’m looking forward to seeing some of it in use! As for me, my Spunky 6 year old goes to school on Wednesday (hallelujah!) so I just might get some sewing done (assuming the toddlers take naps at the same time)!!!
I’m busy this week. Work at Barnes and Noble 3 days, teach Tai Chi 2 days, finish a quilt back and start a new baby quilt.
I have a busy week of sewing planned too. I need to bind a charity quilt, make a sewing kit for my granddaughter and start a bee block!
Hi! Sweet Giveaway!

I’ve got a bit of catching up to do this week and then I see something else I want to try! (:o)
I’m shooting for the quilting and binding of at least one quilt for the Blankets of Love Foundation and if I’m really lucky I’ll pin and quilt my GGA quilt plus help my little guy and his quilt project for his Dad’s birthday. Good thing it’s 3 months away!
Thank you for the chance
Looks like you had a great holiday! What fantastic scenery!
This week I’m hoping to complete a couple of zippy pouches and I’m still trying to choose my colours for my ‘Groove’ quilt!
Thank you for a lovely giveaway. I am hoping to finish a hexagon craft bag for myself. I recently made 2 for friends and decided that I could do with one too.

I have no big plans for this week yet. I know right now I need to go clean the kitchen!
Glacier National Park..Lucky!
I just picked up some rainbow thread so I can machine quilt a sweet baby quilt.
Love sweetwater!
I am working on a table runner for my sister-in-law. The sweetwater is lovely.
I need to re-organize my sewing room so I can get down to some serious sewing. First up are pen rolls! I love the projects from Sweetwater. Have some of those on the docket, too!
love your giveaways thanks
This is the first week of school and we are after school kid-sitting two grandnieces 2 days a week. The oldest is learning to sew, so we will sew. I’m starting a new quilt project and making some test blocks to find one that works. I love the jar sewing kit idea from sweetwater.
I hope to finish quilting a kid’s quilt, work on a raffle quilt, and work on my Famer’s Wife blocks. Thanks for the chance to win.
I am cutting out blades for a summer Dresden quilt for our bed. Just finished my Log Cabin quilt & it is on the bed now.
I’m just starting to play with a stack of smallish hst’s that were left over trimmings from a wedding quilt I completed this summer. They’re so cute. I’m guessing the newlyweds will have a baby within the next year or two so it can’t hurt to have a baby quilt for them tucked away in a vault.
My kids just started school, except my oldest. He is getting ready to go on a 2-year mission for our church in Guatemala, so I’m spending this week trying to get the last minute details done for his trip. Maybe I’ll be so busy with preparations that I won’t have time to think about him actually leaving….
We are busy helping our oldest daughter pack up for her first year at college…this is so hard! Also have a tshirt quilt in the works for her dorm room.
Thanks for a fun giveaway!
