the Storyteller’s Sampler Quilt QAL

hello and happy Monday!

today I am excited to be apart of the QAL for this new book!

one of the other gals on the QAL posted this great blog post….

I was excited to be asked by Cinzia to participate…I selected the Merry Xmas block…done with foundation piecing….I chose the 6 inch block size…

so here are half of my blocks done…and here are some tips – yes, you can set your stitches too close together! before trimming, test to make sure fabric covers the desired area, after each seam, told and trim to 1/4″ seam allowance…

this was such a fun block…and so glad I accepted the challenge!!

    Hi Brooke, That is a very interesting block! The foundation technique sure makes the points look marvelous. Are you going to make more than one? Maybe not if it is a sampler…
