hello Friday!
this is where I last left you with my t-shirt quilt project…
I was sent this shirt to cut up…
and this nurse scrub to use for the coping strips in putting the quilt top together…
so I ended up using the plaid as filler and then the Yankee scrub to help break up the different themes…
I am really thrilled with how the top finished…
now to get the back together and send it off to be quilted…
so happy to have this project finished…just about…
since this is a finish…I am linking up with Amanda, Sarah and Myra…
now for some winners….
the winner of Monday’s giveaway is…Lisa!!
congratulations!!
I am emailing you…
and the winner of Wednesday’s giveaway is…Roseanne!!

ohh your flimsy really came out wonderful. i like the additions of the shirt and scrubs. great job.
One day, I will tackle a t-shirt quilt. Thanks for the inspiration!
love the addition of prints!
Really nice job with the layout! It just shines. I had a friend that just finished hers and since it was all sports themed shirts she had the quilter quilt it with a chine link fence design. Turned out really cute! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Brooke,
Thank you again for picking me to win! I can’t wait to make something fun with them. Great timing on your t-shirt finish as well. I am working on my first and have been debating whether or not I can use different colors of sashing strips or as filler. I think your top came out just GREAT! Now how are you going to quilt it? I’ll stay tuned to find out. I’m going to try Terial Magic as my stabilizer. I picked it up for this purpose about 2 years ago and this is the first chance I’ve had to dive in. ~smile~ Roseanne
Great Great job with the t-shirt quilt. Love it and so will they!!
Your T-shirt quilts are fantastic. I’ve made one and it was a doozy to fit all the odd pieces together. Yours are just wonderful!
Oh! I’ve never thought of “color blocking” a T-quilt. Brilliant idea!!
The top turned out super. It will be very fun to also see it with the quilting design. Be sure to show us the back, too.
I really like the use of the plaid shirt and the nurse shirt for sashing. I’m saving my son’s shirts and think this could be a great way to weave them into a quilt. Thanks for sharing! Congrats to your winners as well!
