Remember my t-shirt project??
I decided to add sashing in rows….so working on one row at a time
I left the sashing off the outside edges until each row was complete.
All the designs are sewn into rows complete with sashing…what do you think??
I measured each row….I used my longest row, which was a tie between the first and the last, as a guide. I added sashing as needed to each end, sewed them together and added a border around the edge…love, love it!!
Here are my back and binding fabrics….as you can tell, I misjudged the amount of the bracelets I needed – ugh!! Well, in the spirit of making do….I pieced the back…thoughts??
The giveaway this week…anything here jump out?? Happy Sewing!
I really love the sashing…is it difficult to sew the cotton to the knit? I’m planning to make tshirt quilts for my kids…so was just curious!
I think a pieced back can be fun…and I’m sure you’ll make it look beautiful.
I love pieced backings so carry on! Your tshirt quilt has a great layout too.
I always like a pieced back as it jazzes things up a little. Thanks for another fun giveaway.

I spy some Alison Glass peeking out!
I always piece my backs, I think it kind of makes a “reversible quilt.” Thanks for the added personal help on FB, you’re the best.
