show ‘n tell and a giveaway…

Wow!  Don’t you just love this amazing quilt??!!  I know I do!!  I received an email from Jenny, a blog follower, with this picture!  She won these Terrain scraps here back in January and this is what she made – wowie!!  Great job Jenny!  Thanks so much for sharing!

I snapped this photo before I popped this lovely in the mail.  My Mom made this quilt and left it with my quilter to quilt.  I picked it up last week and mailed it off, but thought Gayle did a lovely quilting job and just had to share!

Here is the giveaway for this week….remember this line?  I’ll give you a hint – the Quilted Fish…
Have any sewing plans for the week?  I do, but my kiddos have plans too…so we shall see…

When we were kids we walked everywhere, Ma never drove. So I guess she was at home doing whatever she wanted while we hoofed it back and forth.

    Beautiful work by all! Amazing!
I am learning to crochet, so assuming my 20 month old lets me do that, that is the craft project for the week 🙂

Those are beautiful quilts. I’m amazed that so many people are so gifted at quilting. And anyone that reads your blog should know that your scraps are apple of my eye, right? 🙂

I am about to finish putting together a hexie bag. After that I need to finish a large poppy cross stitch for our 15th wedding anniversary, our first home was calle dpoppy cottage. The scraps are from Apple of my Eye. I had enjoyed the blog hop, by the way. I do think those scraps would turn into cute little owls.

I would be “delighted” to give those scraps a home, since fabrics by the Quilted Fish are the “Apple of my eye”, too! LOL
Lovely quilts up there! My project is coming along – I gave a sneaky peek today on the blog…. 🙂

I love Apple of my Eye! I don’t have any but would love to! This week, I will be busy doing all the last minute things that are involved in directing two weeks of camp, one for teens and one for children. I am in charge of crafts and am not ready at all. So, no sewing for me. 🙁 sigh!

Jenny’s quilt is pretty inspirational — especially using scraps! Your Mom’s quilt is just lovely; I would not have thought of her palette, but it is so soft and romantic looking, and her flowers are wonderful!

I love Terrain! Jenny’s quilt is great! Your Mom is one clever lady too! I bet you are the ‘apple of her eye’!!

Fun to see my quilt out there in blog land. Love the soft colors in your Mom’s quilt; the quilter did a great job on it! Apple of My Eye is my guess for the scraps. I’m hoping to put some blocks together on my son’s graduation quilt. He graduated two years ago, but I wasn’t quilting then. Better late than never, right?! Happy Sewing.

Your mom’s applique flowers are beautiful! I’m working on some embroidery for a class I’m in, but I guess the sewing for that is done at the moment! Hmm, I guess I don’t have any plans – I better make some!

Lovely scraps — are those apples that I see – must check my eyes! LOL Both of these quilts are lovely – I like the flowers on your Mom’s and the Terrain spools.

What beautiful quilts!! I expecially love the spools! I’m hoping to get some sewing in this week, but I have to get some accounting done for our business by the end of the month. Thanks for a chance to win! 🙂
