So pretty, that new Heather Ross range. I have only been to see the Nutcracker Ballet once when the Moscow Ballet toured, but it was wonderful. The fabrics bring back the memories. We are off to see a Mozart themed performance later this month, after I realised I hadn’t been to the Ballet for many years. It should be fun.
Your quilt colours make me think of spring, the first, chlorophyll rich leaves, so very bright green. Winter has us in it’s grip now, so green is a precious commodity here. Happy sewing.

Your secret sewing picture reminded me of the 1960’s color block dresses. My older sister–who was extremely cool–used to do all her own sewing so that she could use her spare money to buy accessories. I remember being a preschooler, looking at all of her shoes when she was a senior in high school, in absolute awe.. I am pretty sure she had a pair of lime green high heels that would have matched your fabric pull perfectly. 🙂

I am working on (attempting to work on) quilting up a lap-size and struggling for the hour or so that it will take. Hoping to get it done soon because I have one quilt waiting right behind it to have binding and label added. My focus is finishing up old projects to start something new. I bought a Fabulous Unicorn applique that I am excited to get started on

The colors in the first pic speak ’60s to me. I distinctly remember having an empire waist dress made of that aqua and lime green.
    xx,
    Carol
