Ruby Wednesday

Well, it’s not Tuesday, so I couldn’t say Ruby Tuesday which is one of my hubby’s favorite resturants! So, have you seen this new line by Bonnie and Camille? I know it isn’t quite the same style I have been sewing with, but every once in awhile it is fun to be different!! Since only precuts are available, I am using a charm pack for this project. It is my “sew off” project – do you know what that is?? When I am piecing, I try to have several projects going to make the best use of time and thread. When I finish one seam, then I put another in and sew it. Make sense?? Once I started doing this method, I couldn’t believe how much I was able to accomplish is about the same amount of time!

I still always think of the song rather than the restaurant… can’t wait to see what you do with Ruby.

Variety is good! 🙂 I just might have to try your ‘sew off’ technique, as I’d do just about anything to make my time in the studio more efficient!

LOL! My husband loves that place, too. Well, he did until we started WW and he saw how many points are in each entree. Yikes! BTW — love Ruby.

Cute fabrics. I keep meaning to sew some squares together like you’re doing (sewing off), but I never get organized enough to do it. LOL. Good for you!
