hello Monday!
we were so excited to welcome my quilty friend Stephanie for her yearly visit recently!
Stephanie and I first met online as we were apart of Amanda Herring’s Design Team…
then when we moved to Minnesota, we realized I didn’t live far from where Stephanie came each year for a quilt retreat!
it has now become tradition that she comes to spend the night before the retreat begins at our house!
my kids love it!!
another aspect of this visit is the trading of “happy” gifts…
this was my gift to her…
and this was my happy gift!
I am pretty sure I got the better end of the deal!!
so, so thankful to have such wonderful friends in our lives!!
and the giveaway for today…
a mix of old and new…
leave me a comment to enter…
I will announce a winner on Friday…
Happy Sewing!
I think that’s Stephanie that I know from her looong ago blogging days!!! She’s bought goats milk soap from my daughter! I miss her so much! Hi Stephanie!!
Glad you were able to spend time with friends!
It is always fun to connect with long time friends! It’s been way too long since I’ve done the same!
I love to hear about long time friends that still meet up. My BFFs have gone and I miss them constantly.
xx, Carol
Sounds like a wonderful visit. Makes me realize how many family & friends I don’t get to visit often enough because everyone is just “too busy”. We really need to make visits a priority! Love your giveaway fabrics, especially the little flower print in the middle and the one on top with the vines. Have a good Monday!
Nice to be with special friends. The purple fabric with hearts is cute.
how wonderful to have friends like this. non of my friends sew or quilt. my mom was the only one. and now she is gone. but God is good. I was in JoAnns and another lady and her mom and i started talking. found out she is also in the same situation. so we decided to get together and start sewing together and sharing patterns, etc. I am excited to see where this leads. have a wonderful monday.
That’s great. I love the watercolor look fabric. What line is it?
I’m sure she loved your zipper pouch too, after all, you made it, and it’s got Alison Glass fabric in it! Cannot wait for her new line to come out.
You all look very happy…….and warm. Counting down to Spring here.
My daughter’s BFF from pre-school (and her mom, my motivator who got me into seeing in general) just moved home to Minnesota! We are both going to miss them INSANELY. I think your cork bag is fantastic. Can’t tell exactly what her gift was though. What a sweet exchange though!
I think you guys gave/received great happy gifts and the friendship being the best. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.
So glad you & your sewing friend could get together! What fun!
