Oh Deer! So I tried, but couldn’t resist this line….plus fabric from the Intrepid Thread – awesome!! I love MoMo – what can I say?! The colors of this line remind me of Freebird. Now what to make??
I thought you’ll could give some input….this amazing quilt is one of my Mom’s creations – spectacular!! I took it to my long arm quilter….which thread would you select??
This is how the thread looks on the back fabric as Gayle (my long arm quilter) uses the same thread front and back.
Gayle and I thought this all over design would accent the top nicely, but Mom is leaning toward some more traditional quilting like feathers….
This Friday is my Birthday – they sure do come around quickly!! So for this week’s giveaway, I am offering a gift certificate to my etsy shop or…
These lovely goodies….what do you see?? Maybe some Kate Spain…maybe…
At our house, this is the end of summer….a few more days to sleep in and stay up late before school begins next Tuesday. Have a great week!
YAY!!! I love birthdays!!!! How fun =D Happy almost birthday =P
For the quilt, I think I would pick one of the darker colors. You know me, I love pink 🙂 but I actually think the green blends in really well!!!
Happy Birthday!!!! I hope it is a great one!! I can’t hardly help my husband pick out a tie, but if pressed, I would go for the darker pink. All are lovely choices. Scraps are the nearest and dearest thing to my heart!!
Hope you have a wonderful birthday!! I would go with the green thread.
Happy Birthday. I would also choose the green thread.
Happy Birthday!!! Beautiful quilt I’d go for the Gold/green color. Thanks for the chance to win some cool goodies!
Happy Birthday for Friday!
Your mum’s quilt looks lovely! – I think I’d go with the green thread!
I love the Oh Deer line too! especially the birds!
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday! I am awful at making decisions! but if pushed I would say go with green.
Wow. That’s a pretty quilt. I would think the darker pink would look good, but it seems everyone has an opinion. What are you leaning toward? As for the quilting design? I have no idea. Thread I’m familiar with. Quilting designs, not so much.
So happy early birthday, friend! Looks like you have a pile of really fun fabrics, too! Man – I’d love to see your studio – bet it looks like a quilt shop explosion (tee hee hee)!
Happy Birthday!!!!
Ok I am going to be so different but after much study I am going with the lighter pink(?).
The Oh Deer collection is absolutely darling.
Thank you!

Wishing you a very Happy Birthday! I must say I would choose a snack mat from your etsy shop for my mom. I could see her using it at work every day!
Happy birthday sweetie. I hope you have a cake and fun planned. I am not so good at colour matching but rather like the dark pink thread.

I like the green thread. 🙂 And I like the quilting design. It’s going to be beautiful. Happy birthday to you, my friend!
Happy Birthday! I would go with the gold. I think it will stand out better.
Happy Birthday! Just to be difficult, I’m going to admit that I really like the dark pink thread.
Happy Birthday! I’d choose the greenish one, since I think it works so well with the fabric on the back, and of course it looks good with the pinks on the front!
Happy Birthday! I would use the green thread. Thanks for the chance to win.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!
I LIKE THE GREEN THREAD TOO!
THANKS FOR SHARING!

Happy birthday! Celebrate! I think I would pick either the medium pink or the geranium pink — love the colors in the quilt!
Happy Birthday! You totally deserve to treat yourself to some fabric! 🙂
Happy Birthday!
I would pick the light pink if feathers and think that most any quilting will disappear on the print backing. If go with the long-armer’s suggestion, the darker pink.
If there is Kate Spain in that pile of scraps, then that’s for me.
Once more, Have a Happy and Good Birthday week.
I really LOVE pink, but I think I’d go with the green thread for this. I think it blends best. Happy Birthday and thanks for the giveaway.
Happy Birthday! Celebrate for a week, at least. No need to cram all the fun into just one day.
I like the green thread the best.
Thanks for the chance at your giveaway.
Happy Stitching.
happy birthday. wish you many more thanks for the giveaway
Happy Birthday! I like the dark pink thread.
I hope that you have a fantastic birthday! I would use the darker pink to quilt with. Love pink, and it looks great with the fabrics 🙂
I think that gold thread looks good but it’s hard to tell from photos. I love that bird fabric!
Happy Birthday a few days early.
Lovely quilt. I like the darker rose thread. Also the all-over design you picked is quite nice, but I’m a sucker for feathers.
I’d pick the lighter pink.
And Happy Birthday for friday Brooke xxx
Hope you have a wonderful birthday, filled with hugs and good times! I think that dark pink thread would look yummy!
I hope you have a wonderful birthday. Pretty quilt, I would pick the darker pink thread for the quilting.
Happy birthday!!! I think the green thread works best for both the top and back. Or if you want the quilting to stand out, go the pink!
PS – KATE SPAIN!!!!!! Please…
