hello Monday!
do you ever have fabric lines you just love??
even after they have been out awhile??
Origami Oasis by Tamara Kate is one of those for me…still just love it!
I cut some 3.5 x 5.5 inch rectangles of the various prints to pair with 1.5 x 3.5 inch rectangles of the diamond print
and then I arranged it in a pleasing layout like this…
I am in the process of sewing the unit together…
you might remember this project from the Intrepid Thread’s newsletter…
this will be one side of a pillow cover…
but I took some time yesterday to pick up and straighten my very messy studio…love it so much when it looks like this!
and then I was able to enlist the help of my family to get Christmas put up…with a real tree and all!
so now I can get back to sewing!
and here is the fabric scrap giveaway for the week…
spy something fun??
Happy Sewing!
Pretty quilt. I spy yellow ZigZag. Merry Christmas!
I spy some Ann Kelle I think!
Love the light blue and red stripe!
I spy some superhero fabric. A friend of mine is about to finish piecing a superhero quilt and I’ll bet that snippet would be adorable on the label.
I spy a nice chevron! Thanks!
Great Christmas tree; you’re way ahead of me! Like the “superhero” scrap!
Love that chevron 🙂
I love Origami Oasis too! I am hoping to get a baby quilt done out of it before the holidays! Love the Anne Kelle and the chevron! thank you!
I love all of them…
I see the little superhero peaking around the corner there! Beautiful tree — we’re getting a real one this year, too — first time for a real one since we’ve had kids, so it should be fun.
