what tricks do you use for achieving random??

I’ve done random by tossing all of the squares in a paper bag and pulling them out one at a time. I put one back in only if it was the same as the one next to it.
I’ve no tricks to share. Looking forward to seeing what you make with such cute fabric.
I have a “love/hate” relationship with “random”!!! Love the ‘look’ but achieving it (I use my design wall and take a photo to distance myself from it) it can be quite laborious!!!! We are funny creatures, eh?????
