did you know that Cricut offers supplies to use with their machines??
so I selected this fun designer packet of fabrics…already pre-cut for the cutting mats…
so this past week, my bestie was here and we did a bit of quilt shop hopping…
we spied this fun runner in one shop and thought it would be a fun runner to make with the Cricut maker…
it is so awesome to use the maker to cut basic shapes for a project…

I have thought about getting a cricut. I really should look around and find a local shop that will demonstrate it. One of the best and nearest LQS in South Bend is closing. Love this group of scraps.

Sewing with friends is the best!
I haven’t been too tempted by the Cricut yet, mostly because I haven’t played with one…but I took my ailing sewing machine in to be diagnosed today and boy, was I lured by the siren song of a new machine. And I can’t tell you how empty my house feels with no sewing machine in it. Crazy!

I bought a big shot after my daughter bought a scan and cut, then found it hard to use. I thought maybe returning to a manual cutting machine, I might be more inclined to use it……it’s still in the box. Shameful, huh? So, I am following your cricut adventures with interest.
