I am so, so, so excited to share and introduce a new designer….Alison Glass!!! Oh you are going to love her first line with Andover….Lucky Penny!!
During Spring Market, Stephanie and I were getting some take out and noticed this gal with a super cute bag. While chatting with her, we were pleased to be meeting Alison Glass a new designer with Andover! We exchanged information and Alison and I have been emailing back and forth since then.
Last Saturday, Alison’s first line…Lucky Penny…arrived at my house!! Oh my goodness!!! Love so many things about this fabric line. The colors are amazing and the variety of prints. I personally love a large scale print to coordinate with smaller scale and this line has that!
I am working on a raw edge pillow…..
I am designing a wall hanging/center-piece projet too….it is just about complete….
I did put together this fun snack mat too….such a fabulous line!!
This week’s giveaway has a bit of this and that….of course!! See anything fun?? Have a wonderful day!
What a cute new fabric line!!! You were so lucky to receive some Lucky Penny =D
I just love those dotty wavy lines – I think it would make a great quilt backing, too! Thanks for the sneak peek and the chance to win!
Alison Glass is new to me (any relation to Henry?????) but a very talented lady! I like what I see!
So very pretty! And I love the name “Lucky Penny!”
I, too, love the large prints coordinated with the smaller prints. Makes for a great set … thanks for the give away!
Yummy fabs :O)
All kinds of great stuff in there! I can’t imagine I’d win again but I’ll give it a try. Thanks for being so generous to share your scraps!!!! Love the snack mat!!
everything looks amazing! This would be a great birthday gift to myself 🙂
Great giveaway! Love that hot pink with white.. okay it all looks fantastic, but I’m a pink lover..so what can I say, my eye is always drawn to the pink.
I think Lucky Penny will be my new MUST-HAVE fabric! I love your scraps-the dots are are so cute.
Great giveaway, thanks for the chance to win
I always see something fun in your fabric choices. I will definitely need to get my hands on some of that Lucky Penny fabric!
Sew pretty colors and patterns, thanks for the giveaway and I think I can see some mug mats in the making!
You are very lucky!!! Love the pillow cases!
This fabric is so cute! I love the bright, happy colors!
I LOVE your giveaways…because of the surprise element. I love surprises!
Fun fabric line, love the colors! Love your giveaways too…always something I never think to buy but once I see you use it, I love it! Thanks for the chance and happy sewing.
How fun! You have the funnest stories (funnest? Is that a word?!!)
Do I see Flying Free in that pile’o fab fabrics? I like the beaded curtain of miscellany, and that grey fabric is beautiful! Pair it with some scarlet and it’d make the most amazing bag for game day (Ohio State Buckeyes)!
What a beautiful line! I dream of one day getting sent fabric to play with before it’s released!
Lucky penny has a really nice palette for fall. I see some Good Fortune in your scraps, and if the gray is Art Gallery Elements I am itching to pet it–i’ve heard great things!
love that fabric put my name in thanks
I see pretty pieces of fabrics that will be wonderful for hexagons. The paisley is very pretty, as are the dots.
How exciting for her and for you! It’s neat to see you getting to follow through on your commitments at Market!
Lucky Penny looks wonderful…love the snack mat in those fabrics! So many gorgeous things in the scrap pile! Fun!
Just saw this Lucky Penny Line on another site. Great designs and an awesome color palate. How great that you get to work with them.
Just love the colours in the Lucky penny line. Thanks for the chance to win.

Lucky Penny is a great name for a line, I wonder how harit is to think up a name. I particularly like the hot pink with wavy, dotty lines on it.
Thank you all for all of the nice comments about Lucky Penny! I am so excited to see what people will do with it and cannot wait for it to start showing up in stores! It should be any day now.
Gill, no relation to Henry, but a good question. Kay, thank you for liking the name. It didn’t start out as that, but I am very happy to have landed there. Naming I suppose is easy for some designers. I think it’s one of the hardest parts!
Again, thank you all! Brooke, especially thank you for making things with it and being so interested!
Really like the new line. Love the green and greay scattered through it. Must be incredible to design a fabric line!!
