hello Monday!
I thought I would take you along on my bear making adventure…

so this is where I last left you…

and we have a cute pink fuzzy head!

and we are onto the arms and legs…

at the advice of a friend, I sewed the front of the romper closed and then was able to make the front of the bear be one piece to use as much of it as I could…

I was really happy with how I was able to match the back ruffle…

here is the front of the second bear…

since the backside of the second bear was rather blah…I added two rows of this jumbo ric-rac…so cute!
so I am lovin’ how these are coming along…

    oh how fun seeing these come together. I am loving that you are using rompers fro the bodies. about 25 years ago my husband made a blue fuzzy bear (not quite as fuzzy as yours). It was so cute. He gave it to our first born boy for his second birthday. Cant wait to see them finished. You are doing such a wonderful job that is full of love.

    I’ve got to tell you, Brooke, that as a quilter I usually shy away from anything that doesn’t involve only straight lines–no dimensions! But those bears are so dang cute I might be tempted to give it a go.
