about 14 years ago…I made this quilt for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary…

we are currently in the season of sorting and cleaning out…
my mother-in-law is now living in a nursing home…
my father-in-law passed away a number of years ago…

Beautiful, I love to pair purple and green. But I also love green and peach together. One day, if I ever find the right green and peach I will have a new quilt .Sending good vibrations your way, its not easy cleaning out a parent or in-laws home.
What a memory this quilt will evoke for you each time you look at it. I am sure she cherished it.
A lovely memory quilt.
how bittersweet to have the quilt back
such a lovely quilt. ohh the memories those kind of things have. Blessings in this season of life.
Thank you Brooke! I love your quilt and it is so sweet that it is coming home. Certainly it was loved and it will be loved.
What a beautiful quilt!! You gave such a lovely gift – now it has come back for you to enjoy. Changes are always hard, but looking back, it is always special to see how the Lord led each step of the way.
That is a beautiful quilt. My mother-in-law recently moved to a nursing home too, and most of her things have come home to us too.
