hello Friday!
I finished up my fancy lace bib!!
since so many of you were interested….I thought I would share it here…
Working on my #lacebib project today! What are you doing?? #summermayhem2017 #summersewing happy Thursday!
so here is where I began yesterday…
I used my walking foot for much of this project…
it helps to keep all the layers flat and not bunching up!
and one of the sweetest things…my kids coming in and reading to me while I sew!!
the next step is to lay the bib unit on top of some chenille…or whatever you want to use for the back…
I do leave a gap for turning…
then I finally trim all the layers close to the stitching and then turn right side out…
then I do a narrow top stitch…
I toss them into a quick wash and dry before adding velcro for the closure…
and there you have a fancy lace bib!!
