you might remember this quilt project…

the plan had been to surprise Heidi with this quilt for her to have for college!
well while we were out West, my Mom and I presented Heidi with her quilt!
Heidi was so surprised!
she had seen us working on it, but we were vague about who it was for…so she never really gave it much thought that it could be for her!
so, so fun to all be together to present Heidi with this…
this quilt will get lots of love and she can wrap it around her when she misses us!!
now I am looking forward to seeing your finishes…
linking up with Myra and Sarah…

ps – I hope you don’t have to stand on your head to see these photos…WordPress is a strange animal, and if I tried to edit these, it would do as it pleased with them…when I publish the post and see it on my end the photos are in the correct orientation…sorry about that!
Heidi’s quilt is beautiful! Amazing to pull off a surprise when it was under her nose, very cool! Thanks for your generosity with all these giveaways!
Heidi’s quilt is lovely. Looking at her face says all that needs to be said. What a wonderful surprise. Good job. I did this for my son when he went off to college. He was going for degrees in history, especially civil war. And since he was a civil war buff and reenactor I made a quilt with civil war reproduction fabrics and a civil war pattern that i had him pick out the year before. I know sneaky, but oh how he loved it. And he proudly displayed it and I wound up with offers to make some for others. Unfortunately we had issues with our youngest that needed to be addressed first. Have a wonderful weekend.
They show up sideways for me, so I just tilt my head. LOL!
I love that quilt so much. I bet she does too. She sure looks happy to have it.
xx, Carol
It turned out very nice. What a great surprise.
