Love, love hosting friends….especially fellow quilting friends….at my house!  My fellow Design Team member and friend Stephanie came to my house last week on her way to a retreat – wahooo!!!  It was so much fun to show her my studio and visit!!  She was a gem and offered to do some cutting for me while we chatted – wow, how awesome is that!!

Here is the fun treat she brought along too….any guesses??  Recognize that fabric??

In case you wondered….these are the fabrics Steph is holding….love this line!!
I am now ready to do a runner project with this…..
and this…..thanks so much Stephanie – you’re the best!!!
So if you have been here long, you know I usually do a giveaway on Mondays.  This week since I am a part of the An Apple a Day blog tour, my giveaway is posted below….did you see it??

Of course the fabrics are wonderful, and how nice it is to have good company…but I am mesmerized by your gorgeous project below. LOL
Brooke, did you freehand the scalloped edge? I just love how it finished, and I would like to try it soon…
Thanks for the tut and the lovely pictures!

The fabric gift for you is great — but to offer to cut for you is priceless! It’s A Shore thing is about the only fabric I recognize (and only from photos).

Thanks for the giveaway and the tutorial! I’ve always wanted to try scalloped edges on a quilt.
