hello Wednesday!
Happy New Year!
I thought I would do one last floating flying geese post…
so…as a little review...
after pairing the squares and sewing 1/4 inch down each side of the line…
then put the squares together as shown…
sew 1/4 inch down either side of the line…
cut on the line…
open up the unit and press…
your unit will look like this…
hopefully this gives you a better idea of how they turn out…
on the small size, you sew a 2 inch rectangle on one side of the unit to extend the length to match the others…
love all these bright colors together…
wait until you see how I used these…
now it is your turn…
looking forward to see what you are working on!
linking up with Lorna…
and the giveaway for today…
sharing some of my batiks…
leave a comment to enter…
I will announce a winner on Friday…
Happy Sewing!
I need more practice on flying geese!! Yours are perfect!!
These turned out so pretty. Thanks for sharing how to do these.
They are perfect! Love batiks!
Those geese are wonderful, such great movement!
I’ll have to give these a try. Love how they look in a finished quilt.
Batiks! They are beautiful!
I’m still patiently waiting. They look great! Thank you for the linky party.
Your geese are floating away! LOL Really pretty. Those batiks would work good in a string quilt.
Love the look of those floating geese!
Love the end result and looking forward to seeing how they are assembled. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.
I really like these floating geese.
Very pretty floating flying geese!
Happy New Year Brooke! Fantastic batik fabric!
Flying geese are one of my favorites. I was looking at a sampler quilt I made with four sets of double flying geese and thought of what a great block to use for a full sized quilt.
Triangles look good, waiting to see how they will be used. Love te bright colors.
Like the floating flying geese. Such great bright colors!
