hello Friday!
today…I am excited to share my progress on my Eagle Scout quilt project…
here are my blocks all finished…
you can read about the beginning of the project here…
I moved the blocks back to my design wall…
and began adding some light sashing with the canoe print for the posts…
oh my do I love how this is looking!
for the borders, I did some floating flying geese..
these are awesome!
I saw the idea on a Row House pattern…
I used batiks for these along with some of the lights from the sashing…
the floating flying geese come in three different sizes…
I opted to not take the geese all the way around, but to break them up a bit with a piece of the neutral…
ready to send this off to the quilter..
excited to see what quilt design we decide on…
any input??
since this is a finish…I am linking up with Sarah, Amanda and Myra…
and now for the winners…
the winner of Monday’s giveaway is…Karen!!
congratulations!!
I am emailing you…
the winner of Wednesday’s giveaway is…Lisa Marie!!
congratulations!!
I am emailing you…
and…in case you are interested…there is a little sale going on in my etsy shop for the next few days…

What a beautiful quilt you made! The recipient will treasure it forever!
Oh Brooke, I love it. The geese were the perfect ending. So excited to see it quilted.
Brooke, love the floating geese, so unusual.
This turned out awesome. I went back to the earlier post to see more detail. I ended up leaving a comment there, thinking I was here…Love you and am so impressed with all you accomplish!!! ~Mom
