getting closer….really like the effect of this stitching…
after I finished the stitching…
I trimmed up the outside edges…
decided to add some borders of the Kona shadow…
I off-centered the piece and selected some variegated thread for quilting…
and here you can see how I decided to quilt it…
I really like the echo effect…
don’t you??
and the finish…

What a clever idea hand stitching the square on the block. I love it and love the texture and effect it has. The quilting is wonderful. I do love the Echo…I must remember that one!
