hello Monday!
and Happy Memorial Day…for those living in the states…
so…maybe you are like me…you see a quilt idea and decide you just have to have it…so you purchase the fabric it was made in and the pattern….
but you know it is a project that will take some time…so you set it aside…life gets busy and you find excuses not to get started…well over the weekend, since I wasn’t too busy, I decided to pull this project out…and thought it would make a great new blog series…so my fabric is Diving Board from Alison Glass...if you have been here much, you know I have a sweet spot in my quilting heart for Alison and her fabrics…
stay tuned…
any great ideas that you have done or seen done with this line??
the giveaway for today….well, I can tell you it will be fun stuff…
leave a comment and I will announce a winner on Friday…
Happy Sewing!
Beautiful fabric! I’m not so familiar with AG fabric, must check it out!
I love the bright colours and you can’t go wrong with Alison Glass! Looking forward to another awesome series!
Looks like fun days ahead for you and for us to see what you are making. The colors are just so yummy!
Love Alison Glass.
It must be in the air, but I’m starting a new project today too. Much smaller than yours. Good luck on your adventure.
love your basket of fabric! it looks so pretty just like that. it would look amazing in one of your table runner patterns. happy memorial day! 🙂
Your fabric is lovely! I haven’t seen it before so I will be interested to see what you do with it.
I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with this lovely fabric! And thanks for the surprise giveaway!
I love the colors in that basket.
These are beautiful. I don’t think I have seen fabric from Alison Glass before. I’ll be looking for them in the future.
I saw a seed quilt that would really show off that fabric.
The basket of fabrics is very pretty.
I love Alison Glass her fabrics play so nicely with Tula and Kaffe.
I love fabric period! I also love starting new projects. I usually start cutting out a new quilt when I’m getting bored with the one I’m working on. That way, when I’m done, I don’t have to cut out the fabric, I can just start sewing! Sometimes when I don’t feel like sewing, I’ll pick out the fabric for a new pattern, making myself “quilt kits”. Those fabrics are darling. I love the bright colours.
I don’t suppose stashing her fabric forever, to take it out and pat it occasionally, counts as a good project? Looking forward to seeing your ideas.
Happy Memorial Day to you also! Whatever you do with it you can’t go wrong with her fabric. What fun just playing with it.
