so today I thought I would share just a bit about what goes through my head when I receive fabric like this and am asked to create projects….
quadradic rail
sometimes I am inspired with pieces I have done and would like to re-create with a bit of a different twist…
this piece currently hangs in my studio…do you remember any of these fabrics??

here is a bit of a sneak peek of one of my new Blush and Bloom creations…

sometimes once the fabric arrives and I see it in person…I am inspired to take a different direction than I first planned…
blush and bloom
pictures in magazines or on pinterest can also help inspire new ideas…
so….what projects would you create with this line??
I am planning on writing up some patterns for these new projects…interested in proofreading/pattern testing??

I see lots of fun! Love the tape measure fabric especially. Your blush and bloom fabrics are lovely, that zig zag quilt looks great. I would make quilts, but then, I always want to make quilts. And I agree that once you actually have the fabrics in your hands then plans sometimes must change!

Many of the prints would make cute clothes- I could see some floral sundresses for a little girl! I wouldn’t mind a bag out of some of those ikat- style prints!

Oh, I’d definitely feel the same way! All that gorgeous fabric and the pressure to create something totally unique and special….the stress!!! I’d do the same thing and look through pinterest or books and magazines I have on hand for inspiration. I’d be interested in proofreading and/or pattern testing for you, Brooke. I am not a seasoned quilter, but love to sew and have many years of experience!

I love this line! I would use this line to create some new tote bags! Let me know if you need pattern testers! I would be very interested. I teach advanced sewing at a high school and I am sure they could test the pattern, too!

I’m sorry…I never understand your giveaways? Are you giving away the scrap fabrics? Are we supposed to comment on what scrap we find fun? Help?
