costume clubhouse…

Do you remember this photo??  I brought these fabrics home from my meet-up with Sheri McCulley….so fun!!

I am working on a couple of ideas with this fun panel….can’t you just see a big spider-web quilted on it??  I can also see some fussy cutting ideas….

I decided to cut two 2 and 2.5 inch strips from each of the fabrics in this line….My thought was then I could just select a strip and sew….I like working with strips this width.  Have a favorite tip??

ps – I also have a tutorial up on Sheri’s blog….fun, fun!!

So cute! Tip: Sew from each end to keep it from getting wobbly.

Be careful with your rotary cutter? 🙂

I just know you are going to make something adorable!! I love the idea of big spider-web quilting!! Can’t wait to see!!!

p.s. I’m with Caren. Keep the fingers away from the edge of the ruler when rotary cutting!!!
