hello Wednesday!
one of my favorite parts of quilting is when my quilts come home from the quilter…
and these two quilts have been gone awhile…so seeing them again is fabulous!
I am looking forward to binding them and having them finished!
do you recognize the fabrics in either of these quilts??
these fabrics are for the binding of one of the quilts…
linking up with Lorna…
and the giveaway for today…
leave me a comment to enter…
I will announce a winner on Friday…
I wanted to share this fun project that was emailed to me…
Janna was the winner of one of my giveaways and is making is fabulous piece…
I was so inspired…
always fun to see projects others make…even more fun when some of the fabrics have been won!
Happy Sewing!
I love those oranges! They would make great windows/doors for my Sewing a Village quilt! And I loved seeing your email share and what someone did with the winnings. Some of my scraps from a win from you long ago might make their way into my houses for the village too! Thank you!
oh you two quilts are pretty. I love the backgrounds of the stars. cant wait to see them finished. will be lovely for sure. have a great and warm day.
I don’t often get a chance to send my quilts to a long arm quilter! But when I do, it is very special indeed.
Getting a quilt back from the quilter is like being reunited with an old friend. Fun, fun!
Love those batiks
Love the colors and designs in the giveaway.
Looks like some Parkside fabric? Nice combination of colors.
Great warm colors today
Yay for quilts coming home!! I used to truly despise doing bindings, but now I completely adore them. It means the finish is coming up! Also, it means creative finishing if I’m doing a flanged or faux-piped machine binding, or guilt-free TV time if I’m finishing it by hand. π What’s to despise about that?
Looks like some of it may be Little Ruby
I look forward to seeing the finished bound quilts. I really like the star quilt with the blues. So pretty! And your sharing the project that Janna is working on with the giveaway wins is wonderful. I will do the same once I get past my basket ful of wips! π
I don’t know how you find the time to do all that you do! Please post your finished quilts!
Here’s hoping I can say binding time on a quilt this time next week!
Love the stars! The fabrics are just wonderful and so happy looking on this grey day. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.
Binding is also my favorite part of the quilting process.
I finished quilting a quilt on Sunday, binding time this weekend!!!
Please count me in too…
You always have a good eye for great colors. I can hardly wait to see these quilts when all the way completed.
Canβt wait to have enough scraps to do a neat project-I have a ways to go. I wish I could pick one design that I could work on over years…log cabin or triangles or whatever. Any suggestions?
love the peachy-oranges. I have had a coral, pink, orange quilt in my head for ages.
Love the orange pieces. I have a fall piece in the making and these would work great.
