hello Monday!
remember this picture from my shop hop post??
I decided to purchase several of these super fun panels…
my first step was to cut this top section out with about an inch border all the way around…
I wanted to challenge myself to use only the panel for this piece…
so I added the small row of hearts under the All You Need Is Love…
and then cut up the bottom text section…
and it you place it just so and work in a circle..you can make it all come out…
now to quilt and bind it…
and repeat it for the other two panels I bought… 🙂
and the giveaway for today…
spy something fun??
leave me a comment to enter…
Happy Sewing!
Your scraps are always the best–I spy some Amanda Herring, I think, and some Cotton + Steel? As well as a bit of Live Love Laugh–you make quick work of the things you bring home, Brooke, which is inspiring. I indulged in the most beautiful navy blue panel with empowering yet tender sentiments and gorgeous watercolor-y illustrations at a quilt show recently. (Can’t think of the name of the line, dang it, and don’t want to run upstairs and check.) You remind me I should do something with it right away while I’m still in love with it, and look around for a niece to pass it along to, perhaps.
Is that some Amy Simbaldi Art Gallery fabric, the little flowers? I love the panel fabric. I will revisit the earlier post, since I know someone who very much needs the message in the fabric right now.
Oh wow, I love what you’ve done with the panel! In addition to being a beautiful quilt on its own, wouldn’t it be cute as the backing for a baby quilt? Your scraps are lovely, the piece in the front (Elizabeth Hartman, I believe) is cool.
I’m going to have a song in my head all day! Lol
I spy some really pretty flower buds fabric in the centre!
Such lovely pastels. You quilt is beautiful.
Wow this a yummy quilt!!!!

What a very fun panel. Turned out to be a lovely quilt.
I remember when I saw that post and thinking I have to get to some of those shops someday. What a fun trip that would be. Love the panel and even the pieces of it in your scraps. Great quilt!!

Beautiful and so true….all we need is love! I really like the peek of deer fabric in the top left section of scraps!!
love it! and those giveaway scraps would go very nicely with some things in the works here 😉
Love the fabric panel but this how I would have worded it –
“All you need is love & fabric” x
Love what you’ve done!

That panel is really great, you used it nicely!
The love panel reminds me of the Beatles’ song! 1967; so long ago!
