hello Wednesday!
back quite awhile ago I talked about sewing up squares from church for a quilt top to be finished and given to those in need…
you can read about the first post here…
I have been sewing these squares into pairs and then pairs into four-patches here and there…
I am making progress on the top…
it will be about 60 x 80 once finished…
school has begun for my boys…
time is flying…
maybe I can find some more time to hangout in the studio!
now I am looking forward to seeing what projects you are working on…
linking up with Lorna and Quiltfabrication…
and the giveaway for today…
leave a comment to enter…
I will announce a winner on Friday…
Happy Sewing!
ps – remember to stop back by on Friday with your finishes!
I see some Hey Dot fabrics, love those!
I see the alphabet… timely for the start of school! Lol
Some cute fabrics.
Please, count me in too
Like the letters in the fabric! Your boys look happy to go back to school. 🙂
you have some great looking boys. i always enjoyed when my two went back to school. they were both so hungry to learn. enjoy your time with them.
The scraps look like spring today.
The hearts are very interesting. Enjoy your day.
Love the alphabet fabric! My guy started school today too….yay!!
You’re always the busy bee! I’m curious as to why you’d put the 3 light blues so close together?
Your donation quilt is looking pretty. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.
What a generous gift of your time and skill sewing the quilt for charity! I love the florals in the scrap pile.
I love stitching scrap pieces together to achieve blocks. There is something truly peaceful for me. When our kids went back to school, we were always MORE busy transporting them back and forth to one event or another.
xx, Carol
One of my to do quilts is the one on Amanda jean’s covers-simple, solid, 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 squares. Simple but overwhelming! Love the scraps today…
The quilt top will be great! The quilt will make someone very happy!
