between the two stops, here is what I brought home…
and our annual photo together…in my sewing studio…
such great times sewing together…
and the fabric scrap giveaway for today…

I will announce a winner on Friday…
Happy Sewing!
You are so blessed to have such fantastic fabric shops near you, I dream of visiting these kinds of places. If ever I go away anywhere I alleyways look online to see if there is a fabric shop nearby as they are few and far between here. Happy sewing. x
You are so lucky to not only have fabric shops to visit but also a good friend to enjoy the trip with! My husband is my fabric shop companion and with his art background in design, I can count on him to find some beautiful fabric! He also wants to spend more than me!
I love your choices from the shopping trip, I enjoy going with my mother in law. We always sneak extra surprises in our shopping baskets for each other.
I would enjoy a visit to THIS quilt shop. Very light and lots of quilts on display. It is a nice picture of you and your friend.
xx, Carol
You are lucky to have some nice quilt stores nearby. I see some fun green fabrics.
Haven’t been to Gruber’s but, it seems, all my quilty friends have!! Now that I’m doing the “vintage thing”, thrift/antique shops grab my attention. Problem: my stash is NOT going anywhere!!! Will have to start combining linens and making larger pieces/quilts!!!!!! Hugs……..
this looks like a wonderful shop. how fun to have a bestie to go shopping with like this. you picked up some lovely fabrics. wonderful to get yearly pictures like this.
Looks like a lot of fun was had and memories made.
What could be better than going to a quilt shop with a friend?
I know that was fun! I recently got to to to TJ’s Fabric in Destin! It was so overwhelming! I usually go to Quilts and Quilts when we’re in Branson, MO. That place is huge!
Polka dot! Love polka dots!
I need my bestie to finish her PhD so I can convert her to quilting. Until then, we will just hang out in coffee shops. Easier on the wallet I suspect!
What wonderful fabrics from your shop hop! Love the burgundy/red background with yellow daisies. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.
Love the polka dot fabric!
I moved last summer and no longer live near any of my quilting friends. I miss going to shops with them! Gonna have to make new quilting friends in my new town, I guess. Looks like a lot of run!
Know you had an Awesome time making special Heart Memories together!! 🙂 I LOVE the Polka dots..but scraps of them & all the greens!! 🙂 Thanks for chance to win
Oh, my gosh, how cute are the two of you?!?!
What an absolutely beautiful bundle – love how you worked the Pat Bravo Indie piece in. We don’t have many LQS here, but I found an on line shop (Needle & Foot) operated by a great lady who coincidentally grew up near where I live and now runs her shop a few hours away from my home. She has incredible bundles and is now my “local” go to.
Seriously! Halloween making already? I love that time of year!!! And I think the coaster idea would be fantastic….another idea…..how about luggage tags?
It’s so fun to visit fabric shop with a friend!
Time with your bestie is good for the soul–especially time spent quilting.
