Welcome! I am honored and thrilled to be apart of the Alison Glass blog tour. Alison’s next line for Andover – Sunprint – is amazing! I am in love with all the different colors.
Party Streamer is one of the prints I used in my project. Look at all those lovely colors – fun, fun, fun!
I used a variety of the Feathers and Text print to piece these blocks.
I paired a pieced block with a Party Streamer square, sewed a diagonal line to achieve these half square units.
After experimenting with several different settings, this won my heart.
I was so pleased when my quilting ideas played out so well….sometimes that happens and sometimes not!
From the back, you can see the quilting better. I decided to use a Kona grey for binding.
My finished piece is about 36 inches square – love it!
So now to the fun details – giveaways!
I am giving away this bundle of fabrics and….
one of these amazing embroidery patterns. Leave me a comment about what project you would make. I will be drawing and announcing a winner next Friday (August 30) morning.
Make sure you also head over to Alison’s site and enter to win 74! fat quarters!!
Here is the list of all the blog tour stops….you don’t want to miss a single stop!
