hello Wednesday!
if you are like me…sewing in the summertime is hit or miss…
I needed a sew off project yesterday…
so I pulled out these squares that are part of a block I am doing on a larger quilt…
I like to always have something in the sewing machine while I am piecing another project…
it helps the piecing to turn out nicer and I can get more accomplished…
have you ever done that??
if you follow me on instagram…then you saw this picture…
I am almost finished with it…
so life is good here…
linking up with Lorna…
and the giveaway for today…
leave me a comment to enter..
I will draw a winner on Friday…
Happy Sewing!
Do I see Allison Harris’ new fabric?
I want to try the quilting in circles. Beautiful fabric.
this pile of fabrics are so sweet. ohh, I have to try going in circles. i am making a baby quilt with Patch Pals bunny sitting holding a carrot. this may be fun to have circles on some of it ohhh thoughts
thanks for sharing
*Beautiful*, Brooke!
I have yet to try a spiral… Want to do that!
Two projects at the same time???
Are you piecing on one machine, and quilting on a long arm???
(I quilt on a DSM… my favorite, a vintage Singer 301. That’s also my favorite machine for piecing, so it wouldn’t work for me. I have pieced two projects at the same time, though… “leader-ender” style… But I prefer to “leader-ender” chain piece on one quilt at a time… I guess I need all the focus and attention I can muster on one quilt at a time!!)

Those charm squares are so cute and happy!
I have tried the leader ender deal, but, I keep forgetting to use them! And with my sewing machine having a thread cutter button-it’s easier for me. Love the sqs. for the give away!
Can’t wait to see your finished project. Love those charm squares, great colors and tiny prints. Love love.
I do like your swirly quilting. I tried this last year and failed miserably, it was very wonky. I did use a walking foot but it didn’t seem to like going in circles. x
I keep a pile of strips by my sewing machine, and work on log cabins every time I sit down to piece anything else. It “centers” me, and I’ve made some pretty good progress by sewing in little bits–not news to a lot of people but a lovely realization when I see it happening in real life!
I have to try the circles one of these days! I am making a Yellow Brick Road quilt and need every scrap of yellow I can find, so of course the yellow jumped out at me.
Love the spiral quilting! Thanks for the giveaway
Do you have someone in mind for your current quilt?
The spiral quilting looks very cool. I have done free motion small spirals and think they are fun to do.
I just got home from a week in Florida. No sewing, but I did go shopping! Hoping to join a friend on Friday for lunch and stitch!

Summer is very hit and miss for sewing. To hot – nothing. Cooler – maybe, or catching up with other things.
Spiral quilting is looking good. I may try this on my next project
no sewing for me summer. But I keep pinning and drooling over flickr pictures and blogs 🙂
Love your spiral quilting. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.
I have done spiral quilting on one quilt years ago. It’s time to do it again.
The charms are cute. I hope to get sewing when my veggie garden is done producing.
I would like to try the circle quilting sometime. The charm squares look cute!
