hello Wednesday!
well….I am back to working on my t-shirt quilt!
I have now received the last bunch of t-shirts to be included in this quilt project…
now…when I received these…I noticed tags still on them??
did you see that??
turns out this gal needed a few more college t-shirts to add to the quilt and had a friend go and buy some…
so there you go!!
I really liked this one…
so now onto sewing on the borders so I can begin laying this quilt out…
linking up with Lorna…
some charms and a cute little pattern from Elizabeth Hartman…
leave me a comment to enter…
I will draw a winner on Friday…
Happy Sewing!
I hole you’ll show us the shirt quilt and give us a few expert tips for sewing one
I love Elizabeth Hartman! She makes the most adorable designs! What an adorable baby quilt that would be!
What a nice collection of shirts for your t-shirt quilt. That last one is definitely a winner. Love the Nessie pattern, so cute!
Oh, I haven’t seen Nessie before! That is one cute pattern!
Will you be able to share the t-shirt quilt when it is done? I love seeing how they are set together and quilted.
I have a bunch of t-shirts I want to make a quilt for each of my two kiddos. cant wait to see your finish.
what an adorable pattern. so far I have only had great nieces. there has to be a great nephew sometime and this would be an adorable baby quilt. no grandchildren yet.
I love watching your projects take shape and getting ideas along the way!!
T-shirt quilts are fun to make! Thanks for the giveaway!
Oh my goodness I love the Nessie pattern and the block! Good luck on the T-shirt quilt. Have a wonderful day!! angielovesgary2 atgmail dotcom
I love that pattern! It would have a very good home with me! 🙂
Is that a new pattern from Elizabeth Hartmann?? I love it!
wow – don’t think I would buy t shirts to cut up! 🙂
Cute pattern-I haven’t seen that one before!
That’s such a great idea, really want to see the complete project. Curious if you have any problems and/or tips as far as dealing with those printed shirts as sometimes (in normal wear) the screen press or iron on designs start peeling and coming apart. Any quilting tips to combat that?
What a cute pattern!
You always have the neatest projects going!
I am really looking forward to seeing your t-shirt quilt when the top is finished. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the giveaway.
How do you keep the weight of the T-shirt quilt down?
Cute pattern, I love the solids charms too.
Love that pattern, I saw it a month or so ago and fell in love. Then promptly forgot about it. Thanks for the chance to win it.
I have a t shirt quilt to start on also! One of my summer projects. Love the Nessie pattern – thank you!
I’m also working on a t-shirt quilt this summer but I’ve been told that another bag of shirts has been found, so I’m at a stand still until they are delivered to me! So, I switched gears and am working on some Fancy Forest friends. I didn’t know that Elizabeth Hartman also has a Nessie pattern, so cute!
I bet it was hard cutting up a perfectly good, brand new, T-shirt? I have yet to make one. Somehow, I didn’t think to make one with my Kids’ T-shirts and just gave them all away…the T-shirts, that is? Elizabeth Hartman designs such fun patterns.
Hi Brooke,
Those are really cute Bulldog t-shirts. Love the hockey one! It’s funny – I was just watching old issues of Modern Family and the dad was taking his daughter Hailey to his old school with a Bulldog mascot. I look forward to seeing this complete! ~smile~
Roseanne
Cute hockey t-shirt! I’m still not ready to try making a t-shirt quilt.
This quilt is a work of art (and love and patience)! Look forward to seeing it finished!
