sunprint, clover sunshine and a giveaway

I am beginning a new project using Alison Glass sunprint and clover sunshine fabrics

I love the variety in these lines and how nicely they coordinate….

The plan is to do a runner in the same style as my Lucky Penny piece….

I have been cutting some squares, rectangles and strips….

and then milestone birthday parties….oh my!!  I threw a surprise birthday dinner for my hubby last Friday…he loves them!

Here is the giveaway for the week….some fun stuff!!  Here’s to getting some sewing accomplished!  Happy Sewing!

ps – I am still looking for Bethanie….email me at brooke@sillymamaquilts.com

I recently bought a party streamer bundle. I haven’t decided what to do with it but new I wanted — make that needed — it. I haven’t sewed yet in 2014! I need to remedy that soon. Thanks for the giveaway, also!

Can’t wait to see your finished piece! Does your hubby really like surprise parties? Mine would kill me if I did that! LOL I see some of that “propeller” fabric-that is what it reminds me of–in my favorite color, green! Altogether it looks like a nice little bundle of spring!
