I just love working on this fun little project using favorite fabrics from my stash!

this is going to make such a fun baby girl quilt!

do you like dots

she and her brother will have matching quilts of sorts…same pattern…a few same fabrics…should be a super great finish!

green lake

speaking of a fun finish…I have been out biking lately around this lake…it is a short distance from my house and a ride that takes about an hour to complete…last Sunday this was the view…today not so much…

Happy Sewing!

This quilt will look lovely with so many sweet fabrics in there. Love the lake and view of your biking ‘path’. I definitely need to get out more to bike or just walk, before the winter months appear!

We love dots! I put dots in every quilt I possibly can. Johnny, my quilt consultant, is always looking for them, and when he spots one, he says something like, “Oh, now it looks like one of our quilts!” (his contribution being that part of the process). Your new quilt looks very sweet. I love “partner” quilts that have a connection but aren’t identical twins.

It’s so good to “see” you back blogging, Brooke! I hope you’ve been well. I have quite the collection of dot fabrics and love to use them, although they don’t seem to fit into every project. They always provide an element of fun or surprise to whatever they are added to.

Love dots and the quilt. I made a quilt for 2 of my nephews that used the same fabric but different pattern. Now the newest little brother got new colors.
