A couple of months ago, I shared I was designing a new Very Hungry Caterpillar quilt using this panel….
So here is the inner part of the quilt….I cut the panel apart, added some squares and food fabric – of course!
Oh I love how it turned out – do you?? Next up – borders….
I used the stripe from Brown Bear fabric line, but love how it coordinates with this one….
the numbers are one of my favorites!!
For the back, I used the kid print from Brown Bear with just a small piece of the multi-dot…
My long-arm quilter did a fabulous job!! Gayle drew out the caterpillar shape along with some fruit – too, too fun!!
Tadah!! What do you think??
I used the multi-dot for the binding…love, love it!!
The giveaway for this week…do you see….some goodies from market?? What else catches your eye?? Happy Sewing!
It’s so adorable! What a darling quilt!
Oh this is absolutely brilliant. It makes me smile 🙂
Love it! I want one too 🙂
That multi dot is adorable.
Love the Eric Carle prints!
I don’t normally comment, but just had to on this one. That is a gorgeous quilt. So bright and cheerful.
What a fabulous quilt – my children always loved the story of the hungry caterpillar!
I like the black and white triangles!
I am going to the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art this week!! What a fitting post and very inspiring! I, too, love that blacka nd white triangle print in this week’s pile of goodies.
I love the finished product! Great job.

That quilt is super cute!
This quilt has to be one of my favourite quilts you have done. It was a very special book for my children and brings back lots of lovely memories. Thank you for another sweet giveaway.

My son is in prison and belonged to a group called Father Reads, he not only read this book on tape to our grands, but was able to send them the tape and the book. That was several years ago and I still find them listening to this when they miss him!
The quilt would be so awesome!
My grandkids would love to have this quilt to match their book too. I love the binding fabric.
VERY cute! I love those dots that I spy!
The quilt is absolutely adorable. I spy a little telephone button…..cute!
Perfect!!! I love the way it is quilted too. It just adds to all of the cuteness =D You did such a wonderful job!!!
I just LOVE this quilt. It looks adorable. I spy some of the multi-dot in the giveaway. I wish I would have made one of these for my son but he’s already 3 and by the time I were to finish it, he’d probably not care. 🙁
The quilt is fantastic – so bright and cheerful. Any kid would love it… big or small!
What a happy, cheerful lovely quilt! It is just adorable!~
How bright and lovely for a child. I thought I spied some buttons and a lovely bird pattern.
That’s an awful lot of fun, Brooke! Nice going! And your quilter did a great job, too!
Oh! I love that story… and I love fabric with words on it. Bravo!
Hello, love your quilt design with this line. I also have used this fabric line in many a quilt. Im going to be making another quilt now for my 1st granddaughter and have many of the prints but….. I no longer have the panel with the sun and caterpilla and it’s no longer being manufactured. Do you have this panel I could buy from you?
